Laurel has a degree in Applied Arts from the Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada.

Career to date

Laurel gained previous experience working with another firm of trade mark attorneys before joining us in 1999. Laurel is based in our London office.

Personal skills

Laurel has particular experience in oppositions and appeals, and is also experienced in designing and dealing with extensive filing programmes on a world-wide basis.

Sector experience

Laurel specialises in Community trade mark issues and works with a broad range of clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical, financial, public relations and fashion fields.

Client experience

Laurel’s client portfolio includes ICI and UK TV, though she enjoys working for many clients both in the UK and abroad. She has particular expertise in handling trade mark portfolios for brand-focused medium sized enterprises.

Notable successes

Laurel has a very strong track record in Community trade mark oppositions and appeals. She is an expert in managing world-wide assignments.
