Marisa FosterLLB, MITMAAssociateHigher education Marisa graduated with a first class honours degree in law from University of Nottingham in 2003. Career to date Marisa started her career in January 2004 working as a Trade Mark Assistant in a firm of Patent & Trade Mark Attorneys based in Northampton. She joined Withers and Rogers as a trainee in August 2004 and qualified in 2007. She is based in our Bristol office.Personal skills Marisa has a strong legal background having begun studying law at school. As part of her degree she studied trade mark, patent and copyright law. Marisa has experience in UK and international filing programmes, assignment projects, clearance searches and contentious matters including the drafting of settlement agreements.Client experience Marisa works with clients in a wide range of industries including the luxury goods sector and the leisure sector. For example, Whitbread Group plc, Chanel Limited and Mulberry Company (Design) Limited.On a personal note… Marisa is a keen sailor of racing dinghies and competes both at club and national level, regularly participating at open meetings and national championships across the country. |
