Michelle has a law degree and a masters degree in Intellectual Property from Southampton Institute. Michelle was awarded the prize for outstanding performance on the LLM. She is also a qualified Trade Mark Attorney.

Career to date

Michelle began her career in 1998 working with two major firms of trade mark and patent attorneys, before joining Withers & Rogers in February 2007. Michelle is based in our Midlands office.

Personal skills

Michelle has considerable experience in conducting clearance searches and filing and prosecuting trade mark applications, both in the UK and overseas. Michelle also deals with oppositions and has a great deal of experience in worldwide assignment programmes. She also enjoys advising clients on maintenance of their trade mark portfolios.

Sector experience

Michelle has dealt with broad range of clients covering a wide spectrum of industry sectors. Michelle’s current portfolio includes companies in the field of packaging, food, lighting and clothing.

Client experience

Michelle’s client portfolio includes McCain and the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA).
